Microsoft releases XBOX HD DVD emulator for content creators to give them a efficient way to troubleshoot coding.
The idea is that you can use the XBOX 360 to emulate a HD DVD player and test your release without burning a disc. This can be useful when coding advance interactive features (Known as HDi on HD DVD) so you can test in stages before the product is completely finished.
Please note, this is for content creators only. Oh, and it cost $2,999.00

WinDVD and PowerDVD is a lot cheaper for testing your HDi HD DVD projects on before committing them to disk
Of course the debugging capabilities in such emulator environments are not exactly the most robust in the world.
