The official site for Blu-ray (http://www.blu-raydisc.com) was hacked this afternoon, re-directing visitors to the official HD DVD http://www.thelookandsoundofperfect.com) site.
It seemed that it happened around 4PM ET.
The problem now seem to have been fixed. No doubt the Blu-ray camp are looking into the matter to close holes and find those responsible.
More when it arrives.

Okay that’s funny, seems HD DVD supporters are now looking for the most desperate call for attention. This format war is looking more like a joke day by day now.

Blu-rayers are obviously blaming HD DVDers. HDers are probably claiming Blu's did it themselves to make HD DVDers look like villains. My personal feeling is that outside forces did it to make it look like HD DVDers wanted to make it look like Blu-rayers did it to make HD DVDers look like they did it to make Blu's look like they did it to make HDers look.... I'm sorry. My brain hurts.

and it goes on and on.

As someone who is format neutral all I have to say is who cares???
What I do care about is the fact that my 5 FREE HD DVD's are now months and months over due.
And all I get from their 800 # is 'we will ship them in a few weeks.
-sigh-

Do you love Federal prison? It's a Federal crime to hack a website. This is so far from being funny.
The person who did this will be investigated by the FBI, go to a federal prison, and will be banned from using a computer for life.
