Samsung ready with firmware updates.
Samsung have issued new firmware updates to their Blu-ray players.
BD-P1000 - Jan 24th 2008.
BD-P1200 - Feb. 5th 2008.
BD-P1400 - Jan 24th 2008.
BD-UP5000 - Jan 17th 2008
All updates "improves movie compatibility." It is believed that a new BD-UP5000 update is already in the works because of Blu-ray playback issues. More when it arrives.

Wow...board got wiped. Not surprised.
Just FYI for Samsung owners, this firmware update appears to be a bit buggy on some players.
I do QC on discs in LA and noticed it the other day. I placed a call in to Samsung, they are aware of the problem and are working on a fix. Just thought everyone should know, so if you experience problems, give them a call and put the pressure on.
I know there was some concern about the bug on this board yesterday.
