Lionsgate will release "Saw IV" on DVD & Blu-ray this January 22nd. The DVD will be available in separate rated and unrated editions. The Blu-ray disc will be unrated.
Extras will include: an "Audio commentary with Producers Oren Koules and Mark Burg and Executive Producers Peter Block and Jason Constantine," a second "Commentary with Director Darren Lynn Boussman and Actor Lyriq Bent," "Darren's Video Diary," featurettes on the traps and props of the film, a "SAW IV Music Video by X-Japan," and a "Bonus deleted scene."

Synopsis:
SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN SAW III
Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda are dead. Upon the news of Detective Kerry's murder, two seasoned FBI profilers, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, arrive at the depleted police precinct and help veteran Detective Hoffman sift through Jigsaw's latest grizzly game of victims and piece together the puzzle. However, when SWAT Commander Rigg, the last officer untouched by Jigsaw, is suddenly abducted and thrust into the madman's harrowing game, the officer has but ninety minutes to overcome a series of interconnected traps...or face the deadly consequences.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Saw, Saw II and Saw III was going to get released on DVD and HD DVD. Anyone know anything about this?

All four movies will be released on HD DVD in Germany and Holland. HD DVD has no region coding so these releases will play in US HD DVD players.
