Warner Bros. will release "Superman: Doomsday (Special Edition)" on a 2-disc DVD (& Blu-ray) this November 25th.

Extras will include: a "Commentary by Producer Bruce Timm, Writer Duane Capizzi, Voice Director Andrea Romano and Executive Producer Gregory Noveck," "When Heroes Die: The Making of Superman Doomsday," a "The Clash of the Juggernauts" featurette, a "Behind The Voices" featurette, an "Exclusive Sneak Peek at DC Universe's Justice League: The New Frontier," "4 bonus episodes of Superman The Animated Series," and a "Wonder Woman Sneak Peak."

Synopsis:
There comes a time when even Gods must die." - Lex Luthor

When Lexcorp accidentally unearths the intergalactic serial killer Doomsday, Superman battles the creature head-on in the fight of his life...literally. The world collectively mourns its fallen hero; humanity realizes it will never feel truly safe again. Superman's enemies rejoice - all but Lex Luthor, who grieves the loss in his own demented manner, setting off a chilling chain of events that even he couldn't have foreseen.

Inspired by the best-selling graphic novel of all-time, DC Comics' The Death of Superman, this feature-length animated adventure boasts exciting action sequences that rival anything you've ever seen starring the Man Of Steel.

And that's the one I sold LAST YEAR when this was originally announced. (Kept the comic, btw.)

Doomsday wasn't all that good...the comic was MUCH MUCH better, IMHO. But I'm a completist and I'll be getting it...

Nope, there's some new featurettes and other stuff, too. Besides, I'd know something was missing next to The New Frontier, not to mention the Batman Complete Series box and all the Super Friends and S:TAS and...oh, I'm a nerd, right?

The JLA and JLU cartoons have the best superhero story lines to date...now, Super Friends, well, nevermind...

But there's Wendy and Marvin and Wonder Dog and the Wonder Twins and their space monkey Gleek!

Wonder Twin Powers activate! Form of an Elephant! Form of a Pail of Water!

Jason, I have no clue what an elephant and a pail of water can do against the Legion of Doom...
