On December 9, Paramount Home Entertainment releases a 4-disc set (SRP $42.99) of first season episodes from the new 2008 TV series SWINGTOWN, starring Molly Parker and Jack Davenport, written and produced by Mike Kelley. The series premiered this past summer on CBS, and is now seen in re-runs on cable's BRAVO Channel. Fans are hoping for a second season to be produced, but there's been no firm confirmation as of yet.

Synopsis:
The neighbors are closer than you think.

As America celebrates its 200th birthday in 1976, two generations of friends and neighbors in a Chicago suburb explore new freedoms and seek connections with each other in the midst of the socio/sexual revolution. This new period drama takes viewers back to the 1970s for a look at suburban households testing the murky waters of sexual revolution following swingers throughout open marriages, "key parties" and other swingers extravaganzas.

The 1970s were a tumultuous decade for America, and this CBS drama follows three couples as they navigate the changing cultural terrain. After moving to an upper-crust Chicago neighborhood with their children, Susan and Bruce Miller (Molly Parker and Jack Davenport) befriend their new neighbors--Tom and Trina (Grant Show and Lana Parrilla)--who they soon learn have an open marriage. This lifestyle is at odds with the attitudes of their more conservative friends, Roger and Janet Thompson (Josh Hopkins and Miriam Shor), just as it is strangely intriguing. Snazzy '70s fashion, sexual exploration, and crumbling traditional values are the main ingredients of this first season of SWINGTOWN.
