According to VideoBusiness.com the popular 2007 horror film, "Teeth," will be released on DVD this May 6th. The film, destined to become a cult classic, was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.

All that is known at this time is the release date. We will bring you more details as soon as they are revealed.

Synopsis:
Still a stranger to her own body, a high school student discovers she has a physical advantage when she becomes the object of male violence.

Popular? this film was the opposite of popular. It came out with no fanfare and was realeased in about two theaters.

Say, what do you mean it's not "popular"? According to IMDb, as of last week it had grossed a little over $100,000.

No one is planning to distribute this in high-def? The story line is intriguing enough for me to give it a rent anyway.

i would say popular is a relative term here. i do not consider 100,000 to be very popular. the eye made 12.8 million last weekend and was a relative dissapointment. considering its budget and the small release i guess so, but I don't think the majority of movie goers even know that this exists.
