Warner Bros. will release "The Invasion" on DVD and Blu-ray this January 29th. The HD DVD will be released on February 19th.

Extras include a History Documentary and other featurettes.

Synopsis:
The Invasion tells the story of a mysterious epidemic that alters the behavior of human beings. When a Washington D.C. psychiatrist (Nicole Kidman) discovers the epidemics origins are extraterrestrial, she must fight to protect her son, who may hold the key to stopping the escalating invasion.

It was a great movie, I went into it a little sceptical because I loved the original. Overall the acting was good and it was an entertaining flik.

The Invasion

I think I kept all spoilers out of it, aside from the obvious. Not great, not wonderful, a good diversion-maybe. I'm patiently waiting for an extended director's/producer's cut. A lot seemed to have been left out, storywise.
