On July 22, Universal Studios will release "The Mummy" starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz on Blu-ray. There will be plenty of special features including commentaries, featurette, deleted scenes, and a sneak peek At "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor."

Synopsis:
A full-scale re-imagining of Universal Pictures' seminal 1932 film, The Mummy is a rousing, humorous, suspenseful and horrifying epic about an expedition of treasure-seeking explorers in the Sahara Desert in 1925. Stumbling upon an ancient tomb, the hunters unwittingly set loose a 3,000-year-old legacy of terror, which is embodied in the vengeful reincarnation of an Egyptian priest who had been sentenced to an eternity as one of the living dead.

The first one was fun for no more than popcorn entertainment, the second was a complete disaster and now they're going for number 3!? Just when you thought Hollyweird could get no worse, it does! Yet more proof that the city of stars has run out of ideas!
