Audio:
Another original reproduction of its original broadcast, the 2.0 Dolby Digital is totally passable. There is a slight hiss that occurs, however the musical tracks do have a good dynamic range and the sound effects and dialogue come through clean and clear.

Extras:
The first two discs are devoid of any extras, housing only four episodes apiece. The third disc features only three and a few bonus features. The first feature is an excellent documentary, running about 50 minutes, entitled "The World´s Favorite Clown" that looks back on the life and career of Benny Hill. Contemporaries and fans reminisce on his influences and we get a look back at clips from throughout the ages, some of Hill´s most famous moments like the "News Flash." Hill himself discusses his life and times on this 1991 BBC interview-style documentary. This documentary makes the set by giving us a portal into the mind of an insane comedic genius.

The other features aren´t nearly as enlightening, including a text piece from Robert Ross, a Benny Hill expert, some brief "fun facts," and a trivia contest that pays off with clips from the show.

Film Value:
Benny Hill, much like most British comedy, is an acquired taste. Fans will find a lot to love in this excellent set produced by A&E, and anyone who likes good sketch comedy without much investment will be pleased with a blind purchase of one of comedy´s masters.
