Extras:
There are few extras on this DVD. In the main menu, you get the description and technical schematic of most of the ships used by the UPSF. There are some minor spoilers in here, including a few that don´t happen even by the end of the disc.

In the Bonus menu, the first extra is "Gallery". It contains short clips from various parts of the series that center around the trials and travails of Lt. Yamamoto.

Second, there´s a spot for "Weblinks". It shows the URLs for the official North American "Irresponsible Captain Tylor" website and The Right Stuf´s own site.

Third is the "Special Thanks", a gigantic list of people and the town and state they´re from, including the my university´s anime club vice president, James Black. This is a list of the people who preordered the "Irresponsible Captain Tylor" DVDs, thereby making the project possible.

Finally, there´s the "Japanese Credits". The ending credits play with only the Japanese credits in English displayed.

--Miscellaneous--
The DVD doesn´t come with anything inside the case. In fact, the disc itself has little else but black text on it.

Film Value:
There are no filler episodes on this DVD. In fact, there hasn´t been a filler episode in the entire series that I can remember, and in a twenty-six episode long series, that´s pretty good. The main thrust of the episodes on this DVD is to bring all of the issues to a head. Tylor has by now infected his entire crew with his outlook, the Raalgon Empire has decided to launch an all out attack on the UPSF, and the UPSF has decided to launch an all out attack against the Raalgon Empire. With a set up this well put together, I hope the ending doesn´t disappoint.
